Dear Friends: it’s Wednesday 15 June, 2011 and I have no news for you.
Many of you have followed my website and monthly newsletters for a long time. So I thought that if I did not send out something this June 2011, I would get comments from those who missed their newsletter; (I hope). So to forestall comment, I want to tell you why you are not getting a newsletter this June 15th, 2011.
Last year at this time you didn't get a newsletter because my wife was in a nursing home after undergoing extensive spinal surgery. Well; this year I am ill. I was diagnosed in October 2010 and have been receiving treatments. One of them, causes chronic fatigue. So I have been unable to go to bike planning meetings, write emails to parks districts asking about construction plans or calling anyone. For that reason, you are not getting a newsletter this month.
