Miami Valley RailTrails
Newsletter
June 2004
Hello MVRT Members - It's 30 June 2004 and I have news for you. I have been adding information and new pictures to the website.
Southwest Ohio's Waterways and Pathways - In June my website was recognized by being added to the 2004 Edition of Southwest Ohio's Waterways and Pathways. The 32 page tabloid sized document printed on newsprint is to be available at cycling events throughout Ohio until the 16,000 copies is gone. I suggest you try to get yourself a copy. The link above is the "Friends of Madison County Parks and Trails" and shows the front page. It also has information about their ad in the journal. My quarter page ad is on page 14 and here's what it looks like below:

Revision to website-
I was contacted by the Ohio Office of the Rails-To-Trails organization. They
requested more information on the staging areas for the trails where you can
park your car while using the trail. They also wanted more information about
restrooms and the availability of water. I received a small compliment when
the staff person told me that she had found more information about this
topic in my website than on others. Anyway. I am reworking every web-page on
the website to revise and add more information about parking, water and
restrooms. On each page I am adding a table with detailed information. For
example see my Little Miami Scenic Trail Xenia
To Spring Valley Section page.
Regards to all,
