The Twisted Pretzel Tour is a mass start timed event through the beautiful Germantown countryside. The first annual tour will kick off at 8:30 AM, Saturday, September 27, 2014.
Three routes provide distances for all ages and skills. Two breaks (1 for the shortest route) offer warm pretzels and toppings along with the standard fare. The routes are flat to gently rolling with the longer routes traveling over the scenic Germantown dam (and down, not up, the dam hill). A ride across the wooden planks of the historic Germantown covered bridge is a feature enjoyed on all routes.
The ride is held in conjunction with the Germantown Pretzel Festival and is sponsored by the Germantown Lions. All proceeds go to local food pantries and participating civic organizations.
