American Walkers Association (Cincinnati) - The oldest walking club in the US. Lots of local walks listed.
Ohio Mountain Biking Association - For those of you interested in mountain bicycling in Ohio. (See also)
Miami Valley Mountain Bike Association - A member club of Ohio Mountain Biking Association (see above).
Long Hiking Trails in France If you'll be in France and want to walk long trails take a look. It's a Winner! Just click on the English logo. His International Hiking and Outdoors Websites (see his drop down list at bottom of page) includes a link to this website among many good US, England and other trails.

Pedalopolis - is a free, member-driven online community for those who enjoy cycling in Southwest Ohio.
This site features Trail Watch, a way to track condition of the cycling trails and report this to other readers.

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base - One of the Air Force's largest and historic bases. The Wright Brothers had their first hangers on what is now part of the base.
National Museum of the United States Air Force - One of the finest military museums in the world dedicated to the United States Air Force. Includes an Imax theatre, (937)253-IMAX. A must see for visitors.
Sunwatch Indian Village An 800-year-old village built by the Fort Ancient Indians.
Dayton Art Institute - The premier art gallery in Dayton
Dayton Aviation Park - Wright Brothers information from National Parks Service
Five Rivers Metroparks - These are the parks in Montgomery County managed by one agency.
Carillon Park Historic Village and Deeds Carillon. Houses the 1905 Wright Flyer III, the world's first practical airplane and a part of the Miami and Erie Canal. Many other buildings and features.

Little Miami Scenic Trail Areas of Interest to Tourists

In this area I will provide for your use links to places near the Little Miami Scenic Trail such as restaurants, lodging and areas of interest. The trail runs from Yellow Springs in the North through Xenia and the Xenia Station to Spring Valley, Corwin (Waynesville) Oregonia, Morrow and finally stops at Milford near Cincinnati.

Little Miami Scenic Park The trail is in the park for about 50 miles in Greene and Warren Counties.
Ohio State Parks You can get lodgeing, camping and other info from them.
Young's Jersey Dairy - Near the Yellow Springs -Springfield Trail (at Jackson Rd crossing) Located in Yellow Springs the dairy has long been a "must see" for tourists to say nothing of their outstanding ice cream and their new restaurant.
Spring Valley Mercantile Co. is a restaurant and gift shop with restrooms and water directly on the trail at Spring Valley.
O'Devlins General Store - Another small store in Spring Valley on the trail. They have water, food, restrooms and even a pump for your tires! Nice people!
Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau - Good info on restaurants, hotels, B&Bs etc on the Little Miami Scenic Trail in their county which is Corwin almost to Loveland
Spring Valley Wildlife Area - A beautiful wetlands adjacent to the trail just South of Spring Valley
The Corwin Peddler is on the trail in Corwin Ohio about 7 miles South of Spring Valley. It has a restaurant, water, restrooms, bike and skate rentals.
In Waynesville Food and Lodging you can find places to stay and restaurants in the area

If you like biking in Ohio, I promise you'll like Shawn's book. ere is where I will provide for you books about biking that I think will help you find RailTrails and other biking experiences that you will enjoy

Short Bike Rides - Ohio by Kay Wert Minardi. Kay's book is an eclectic selection of short rides that she has selected to please the most jaded biker's palate. Kay is the Past President of the Dayton Cycling Club and her expertise shows in her book which also contains excellent maps of the trails. You can get her book from Amazon.com

"Mountain Biking Ohio" A guide to Singletrack Trails in the Buckeye State by James Burattie. This book is recommended by the Miami Valley Regional Bicycle Council (MVRBC). This is a guide to mountain biking in Ohio. It retails for about $11 and it contains information about 20 rides, 270 miles of trail and trail maps. You can purchase Mr. Burattie's book from Amazon.com

"Cycling Through Central Ohio" by Ed Honton. Ed's book is a set of trail maps for some of his favorite rides within easy reach of Columbus Ohio. The book is available from Columbus Outdoor Pursuits,
