*Miami Valley - The Miami Valley consists of the 14 counties that surround Montgomery County (Dayton) and Greene County (Xenia). They are Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Darke, Fayette, Greene, Hamilton, Madison, Montgomery, Miami, Preble, Shelby and Warren.

Connected Trails in the Miami Valley   - I am beginning to call the emerging trail system in the Miami Valley the "Miami Valley Trails System." As of 2008 there were by my count  237.9 - miles of connected trail in the system. The trails that are connected going from North to South are as follows:
