Three Counties Trail (Nominal
Name) [Trail in Planning] - Trail follows Norfolk Southern right of way from
Eastwood MetroPark (Montgomery County) Northeast to Huffman MetroPark
(Montgomery County). There it connects via the T
Connector to the
Wright
Brothers Bikeway which goes into the City of
Fairborn. The new trail continues Northeast into Greene County and
connects the North side of Fairborn to the trail system. Still following the
railbed it runs into Clark County and finally ends in Enon a total of 15.1
miles. Plans are being made by Five Rivers MetroParks, Greene County
Recreation and Parks and National Trails Parks and Recreation District
(Clark County) to cooperate to build this "Three County Trail" and
eventually connect it in Clark County with the
Buck
Creek Trail.

Railbed exists from Verona Southwest to New Paris near the Indiana border at Richmond, Indiana. Plans are being made to build on this railbed and possibly connect to the Wolf Creek Recreation Trail that ends at Verons.
