Newsletter December 2002  - News about the Simon Kenton Trail in Clark County and the opening of the Wright-Brothers Interpretive Center at the Wright-Brothers Memorial and the opening of the Wright-Brothers Flying Field on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to tourists. 

Newsletter October-November 2002 - New web page on the site; Canal Run a part of the Piqua Activities Trail For Health In Piqua Ohio

Newsletter September 2002 New construction on Creekside Recreation Trail and Great Miami River Recreation Trail (Northern Segment) in Montgomery County. 2.2 miles added to Piqua Linear Trail. Funding received by Fiver Rivers MetroParks, Greene County Parks and Recreation, Cities of Piqua and Greenville to build new trail segments.  Meeting held about Miami-2-Miami trail and I added a new page "About Trail Names" to try to end the confusion caused by cities renaming existing trails. New proposed Ohio Trail numbering system.

Newsletter August 2002 -  New changes on Creekside Recreation Trail in Montgomery County including possible name change. New construction on the Piqua Activities Trail For HealthNorth. Wright Brothers Flying Field soon to become a National Parks Service site with access to the Miami Valley Trail System for cyclists. Wright Brothers Interpretive Center to open at Wright Brothers Memorial. 

Newsletter July 2002 New pictures of the North Miami Recreational Bikeway  page showing new trail  construction. More on the new construction on the Creekside Recreation Trail just outside Eastwood MetroPark. Ground breaking Spring-Summer 2003 on the trail to Franklin from Crains Run MetroPark (since renamed to Crains Run Nature Park - Miami Township Parks) . More on the proposed Miami 2 Miami Trail and info about a new brochure on the Little Miami Scenic Trail. 

Newsletter June 2002 -  Construction in Beavercreek at Fairfield Road and US-35 affecting Creekside Trail. Construction on the Creekside Recreation Trail in Montgomery County at Eastwood MetroPark and Ground has been broken for the new 20 mile bicycle trail in Miami County. 

Newsletter May 2002  - New web pages on MVRT for Englewood Bike Path and new trail coming soon to London Ohio. There is trail construction in Miami County and on the North Miami Bikeway. There are new bridges being constructed on Fifth Street in downtown Dayton and a new bridge on Siebenthaler over the Miami River.

Newsletter April 2002  Jamestown Connector Planning, Miami To Miami Trail planning, New Mountain Bike Trail opens, Cedarville Trail news, Miami Conservancy website revised. 

Newsletter March 2002  New trail maps available, Tour de Cure in June, Long Range Bicycle Plan available, Huron Valley Greenway wins right to built trail in Erie County Court.
