ScreenSaver 

There are almost 3,000 images on this website and I  have taken thousands of photos of our Miami Valley trails in the nine years that this website has been in existence. I thought I would share some of them with you in the form of a free ScreenSaver.

Download Miami Valley RailTrails ScreenSaver 2.5 Meg 

The file is MVRT ScreenSaver.exe . Download the file into an empty folder on your PC. Double click on the file and you'll see the following window.

 

This window is asking where to UnZip the files. By default the window above will say C:\WINDOWS\TEMP.  Click on the Browse button and navigate through your folders until you get to the one you have made to store the ScreenSaver files. Click on the Unzip window and four files will Unzip into your folder. The largest file is Setup.exe 2.695 Mb. This is the install file. Double click on it and you'll see the following screen on a blue background. 

 

 

Click Setup! and follow the prompts. and it will install You should see the ScreenSaver Preview and Options buttons as well as thumbnails of some of the pictures included. Click on Preview to see a Preview of the ScreenSaver. Click on Settings to set up the program the way you want it. If you click on a picture in the thumbnails and then click on Wallpaper that picture will become your Desktop wallpaper. If you click on Website and you're connected to the Internet you'll be taken to this  website. ENJOY! 

 

If you don't see the ScreenSaver Preview Screen like the one below do the following.

Click on START (lower left corner of your screen)
Click on SETTINGS
Click on CONTROL PANEL
When the CONTROL PANEL appears
CLICK ON DISPLAY (a picture of a computer monitor)
CLICK ON the SCREEN SAVER tab
In the SCREEN SAVER window click on the down arrow and you'll be 
given a list of screen savers
SELECT "Miami Valley RailTrails ScreenSaver"
Then Click on "Settings" and you'll see the Preview and Options
screen.
