New Data - Since 2008 I have been using Google Analytics data in order to provide a more meaningful measure of website usage on this page for you. I have added an account with Quantcast which gives more demographic data about my users. The data for 2010 generally show that my viewers are:

2010 Data

More Male Readers - ( Male 54% , Female 46%)
More Older Readers - ( 35% 35-39 years old & 37% 50 years old and older)
Caucasian Readers - ( 88% of readers are Caucasian)
Readers With No Children- ( 71% no children 0-17; 29% had children 0-17)
Affluent Readers - ( 27% $30K - $60K income, 33% $60 - $100K income, 24% $100K and up income)
Well Educated Readers - (44% college educated , 19% graduate school)

2010 Data (1 January 2010 - 31 December 2010)- Here is the data for 2010 Click Here for the Google Analytics report for the period. It showed 126,101 visits for the period with 403,761 page views. The average time on the website is about 4 minutes and 72% of the visitors are new. Click on the link above to read the entire report.
2009 Data (1 January 2009 - 31 December 2009) - Here is the data for 2009. Click Here for the Google Analytics report for the period. It showed 116,406 visits for the period with 415,845 page-views. The average time on the website is about 4 minutes and 72% of the visitors are new. Click on the link above to read the entire report.
- Top Page Views - For 2010 the top ten pages that were viewed more than any other are as follows:
  - Little Miami Scenic Trail - 62,397 page views of the 403,761 total pages viewed in the period, [65,556 in 2009].
  - Miami Valley Rail Trails - (Home Page) This page was viewed 37,274 times, 39,590 in 2009].
  - Interactive Maps - This page was viewed 20,830 times, [18,547 in 2009]
  - Great Miami River Recreation Trail - This page was viewed 13,432 times, [12,062 in 2009].
  - Ohio Trails page (Alphabetical listing) - This page was viewed 12,524 times, [10,579 in 2009].
  - Milford to Lunken Airport Section (Little Miami Scenic Trail) - This page was viewed 9,810 times, [9,838 in 2009].
  - Miami Valley Trails - This page which has information about all trails was viewed 9,422 times, [12,459 in 2009].
  - Xenia Station page - was viewed 8,505 times, [9,526 in 2009].
  - Hotels, Motels, B&Bs & Campgrounds - This page was viewed 8,401 times, [9,300 in 2009].
  - Morrow to Loveland Section (Little Miami Scenic Trail) was viewed 8,238 times, [8,763 in 2009].
2008 Data (1 January 2008 - 31 December 2008) - Click Here to get the 2008 Google Analytics Report for the Miami Valley RailTrails. The data shows 114,039 visits (about 9,503 per month) and 457,501 page-views from Goggle Analytics. The average time on the website is about 4 minutes (compared to 3 minutes for the first quarter report) and 74% of the visits are new. I am working to improve these statistics.
2007 Data - According to Google Analytics 121,777 people visited the Miami Valley RailTrails website in 2007 ( about 10,148 per month) of which 94,111 were absolutely unique visitors. That says that some people visited the website more than once. I will be learning a LOT MORE about this analysis tool and will share what I learn with you.

Previous Years Data - Below is the older data that is numbers of hits and calls for web pages by month that this site is experiencing. I must be doing something right because the hits and page counts continue to climb. Thank you to all my loyal readers!
