MIDDLETOWN TRAIL
a part of The Great Miami River Recreation Trail [GMRRT] in
Warren & Butler Counties
Butler County
6.5 miles in Middletown Ohio.
This trail segment will be a part of the GMRRT. This 28 mile trail is
being built from Crains Run Nature Park in Montgomery County South through
Franklin in Warren County, Middletown in Butler County to finally end at an
existing trail South of Hamilton also in Butler County.

Construction for Phase 4 from where Simon Kenton Trail crosses the Buck
Creek Trail (additional 2 miles) to downtown Springfield is complete.
This bikeway runs North from Springfield Ohio to Urbana Ohio. Along the way it skirts
the Cedar Bog. It runs along the Erie-Lackawanna right of way.

LITTLE MIAMI SCENIC TRAIL The Little Miami Scenic Trail runs some 76 miles from Springfield Ohio in the North to South of Milford (outside Cincinnati). Since it runs through several counties, there are several jurisdictions and names for the trail. From Xenia to Yellow Springs the trail is called locally the Yellow Springs Bikeway. From Xenia to Milford it's called the Little Miami Scenic Trail but since it runs through the Little Miami Scenic Park, there is another link to the web site maintained for the park.

The trail extends from Yellow Springs in the North to Milford Ohio in the South. By Oct
1998 the trail will be extended North from Yellow Springs to Springfield.

The trail is a triangle connecting Washington Court House East to Chillicothe. The trail

PRAIRIE GRASS TRAIL . The 28 mile Xenia to Cedarville, South Charleston and London trail is complete. The trail travels Northeast towards Columbus passing through Greene, Clark and Madison counties. Eventually, this trail will be a part of the link between Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland and collectively it is known as the Ohio To Erie Trail

-This route connects the Mad River Recreation Trail which
currently runs from Dayton to Eastwood MetroPark. At the park the "Creekside
Recreation Trail runs East to connect with the Creekside Trail which
starts
at the Greene County line (Interstate I-675 at US-35).and County line (Interstate I-675 at
US Route 35) and ends at the Xenia Station in
Xenia, Ohio where it connects to four other trails.
GREAT MIAMI
RIVER RECREATION TRAIL
(Northern Segment) The Second Phase is completed. This trail, will run from Taylorsville
MetroPark South along the Great Miami River and will connect to the Great Miami River Recreation Trail
at Triangle Park.
