The following is an alphabetical
list of Rail and Towpath trails in Ohio. Rail-Trails are recreational trails that
have been built on or along abandoned railroad lines. Some trails listed here are also
constructed along the towpaths of abandoned canals. There are a few trails here that did
not start as either railroad lines or towpaths but are included because they connect
to RailTrails or towpaths.

The Little Miami Scenic Trail runs some 76 miles from
Springfield Ohio in the North to South of Milford (outside Cincinnati).
Since it runs through several counties, there are several jurisdictions and
names for the trail. From Xenia to Yellow Springs the trail is called locally
the Yellow Springs Bikeway. From Xenia to Milford it's called the Little Miami
Scenic Trail and in Loveland, it is called the Loveland Trail. See link below to
the trail within the Little Miami Scenic Park (ODNR).

will end in Lake Erie.

This trail, when complete, will run from Cincinnati North to Xenia, Northeast up
the Prairie Grass Trail to London, London to Columbus, Columbus to Akron and
Akron to Cleveland about 350 miles. In the Miami Valley it consists of:

(South of Cleveland) the sponsors of the trail anticipate that the Trail
will be fully completed by 2003, which will coincide with the bicentennial of the State of
Ohio.-The Ohio to Erie Trail is a part of the North Country Trail
which winds through

trail completed in 2008 from Graceland Cemetery West to the Great Miami

Is the hub of the Greene County trails. Trails connect from the Station in five
directions as follows:
Little Miami Scenic
Trail North to Springfield and

Trail South to Milford (near Cincinnati),
Creekside Trail
, West to Dayton and

Prairie Grass Trail Northeast to Columbus
Xenia-Jamestown Connector to Jamestown and
Washington-Court House.
The Station is finished Xenia on US Route 68 just South of
the Courthouse. It has a parking lot, restrooms and lockers.
