The Great Miami River Trail will be closed directly south of Old Springfield Rd. to replace a large culvert under the Trail itself. The work will begin on Sept 18, 2023 and the trail will be closed until October 2nd. This closure is at the north end of Taylorsville MetroPark.
This will be a complete closure of the bikeway as it will be impassable. Further, Five Rivers MetroParks will not be posting a detour for the closure as none are convenient. There are posted trail closure signs near the site along the Great Miami River Trail indicating the Sept. 18 – Oct. 2 closure dates.
