Five Rivers MetroParks
With all sorts of things going on there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Volunteer while doing what you love by joining the bike or mountain bike MetroParks Volunteer Patrols (MVPs). MVPs communicate information about trail conditions and foster positive public interactions. Help with our Bike to Work Day Pancake breakfast every May, or volunteer to assist with any of our cycling programs and classes. Volunteers can also get involved with our annual Bike Rodeo with fitting helmets and assisting with the bicycle skills course. You can also help by joining in by helping maintain MoMBA, MetroParks Mountain Bike area. We love our volunteers.
Friends of Little Miami State Park

So if you're an individual or a group and want to volunteer on the trail, we can put you in touch with the Segment Adopter whose segment is most convenient for you.
Ambassadors for Clark County Trails (ACCT)
Clark County trail advocates have formed a new volunteer organization called Ambassadors for Clark County Trails (ACCT). ACCT has the cooperative support of National Trails Park and Recreation District and the Clark County Park District. Volunteers will help trail users with directions and general information about places of interest, dining facilities, and overnight accommodations. Trails supported under the program are the Little Miami Scenic Trail, the Buck Creek Trail, the Simon Kenton Trail, and the Prairie Grass Trail. Volunteers will be identifiable by their distinctive t-shirts and will be equipped with informational literature to hand out. ACCTs will also assist the parks in reporting issues such as maintenance and vandalism. Participation in the program will necessitate an initial training program.
Butler County Trail Ambassador Program
MetroParks of Butler County is recruiting volunteers for the Great Miami River Recreation Trail Ambassador Program. Trail Ambassadors monitor the trail at least 4 hours a month on their bicycle. Trail Ambassadors report maintenance and safety concerns to MetroParks staff, assist trail users when necessary, provide information to trail users, and perform light trail maintenance. This is a great volunteer opportunity for an individual or family, a cycling enthusiast or the casual rider. Trail Ambassadors get to enjoy the relaxing scenery along the Great Miami River, as well as exercise, all while volunteering! This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity that requires a training session before beginning as a Trail Ambassador. Trail Ambassadors will initially be monitoring the section of the Great Miami River Recreation Trail from Trenton to Middletown, with hopes of expanding to other sections of the trail.
Simon Kenton Pathfinders
The Simon Kenton Pathfinders is a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit community organization formed in the Summer of 1997 for the purpose of developing a multi-use trail in Champaign County, OH. They perform maintenance and organize some programming on the Simon Kenton Trail.
