The 26th Annual Buck Creek Boom in Springfield presented by LWS Taxes, Payroll, & Accounting, returns this summer to celebrate America’s Independence with a spectacular fireworks display. The fireworks show will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 and is free to everyone. It will be possible to view the show from many locations around the community and allow more people to watch, closer to home now that the show has moved to downtown Springfield. The fireworks will be set off from a closed section of Ferncliff and Snyder Park near Buck Creek this Saturday, July 3 around 10:00pm. You can find a map for ideal viewing areas by clicking here. The rain date for this event will be July 6. The Buck Creek Boom is organized by the National Trail Parks & Recreation District.
This event is not expected to impact use of the Buck Creek Trail.
