The Twisted Pretzel Tour: a bike tour and pretzel party twisted into one!
A mass start timed ride through the beautiful Germantown Ohio countryside (southwest Ohio). Three routes: the Pretzel Ring-8 miles, the Pretzel Rod-19 miles and the Giant Pretzel-38 miles, provide for all ages and skills. Two breaks offer warm pretzels and toppings along with the standard fare. The routes are flat (Pretzel Ring) to rolling (Giant pretzel) with the longer two routes traveling over the scenic Germantown dam (and down, not up, the dam hill). A ride across the wooden planks of the historic Germantown covered bridge is a feature enjoyed on all routes.
The ride is held in conjunction with the Germantown Pretzel Festival and is sponsored by the Germantown Lions. A Twisted Pretzel Beer Garden will be open after the ride.
