Basic Bicycle Repair & Maintenance by Otto Bohn from Spoken Bicycles

The City of Springboro and its Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) welcome Otto Bohn, owner and operator of Spoken Bicycles in Middletown for a class on Basic Bicycle Maintenance & Repair on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. The session will take place in the Community Room located in the Springboro City Building, 320 West Central Avenue. Spoken Bicycles is a full service bicycle shop and bar located at 1201 Central Avenue in Downtown Middletown that opened in May 2017. For more on Spoken Bicycles visit www.SpokenBicycles.com.

The hands-on session will cover the following topics:

  • Basic derailleur, brake and chain maintenance.
  • Bicycle lubrication and cleaning.
  • Fixing a flat.

You are encouraged to bring your own front wheel to familiarize yourself with how to fix your own flat. The session is not designed to repair specific issues with your bicycle but a learning opportunity for routine maintenance and repair on bicycles as we approach the Spring months. All attendees will be entered into a drawing for Spoken Bicycle and BPAC gear. Otto’s presentation is free and open to the public. There is no need to register for this event.
