B(H)ikesgiving Food Drive

Join Tomfoolery Outdoors and The Foodbank, Inc. for holiday food drive with an adventurous twist. B(H)ikesgiving will celebrate the season of giving with a fun bike ride and hike. You choose to hike or bike your donated items to the Foodbank Dayton. Load up your panniers, baskets, backpacks, trailers with food items and then celebrate with fellow riders/hikers as we weigh food, enjoy halfway snacks and learn about the warehouse. We are excited to host our finish line celebration at Mudlick Tap House. Enjoy a sense of pride for giving to those in need and being active! If that isn't enough, we offer a thanksgiving style feast courtesy of Mudlick Tap House.

Entry fee includes celebrations at Foodbank Dayton/Mudlick Tap House and fellowship. Food and percentage of proceeds benefit The Foodbank Dayton. Online registration closes at noon November 18.

Event day details:
10:00 am:
-10 mile bike rides (20 mile round trip) from two locations on local bike trails.

*Rip Rap Road Trail Head on the Great Miami Bikeway (across from Rip Rap Roadhouse)
*Fifth Third Gateway Park on the Creekside Trail

*Black Pug Bike Repair will lead a short 7 mile round trip ride from Mudlick Tap House to Foodbank Dayton beginning at 10:30 am.

NEW HIKING OPTION

-2.5 mile hike along Great Miami River trail to Foodbank Dayton (round trip 5 miles). Hike begins at Mudlick Tap House at 10 am

10:45 am - 11:30 am: Celebration and weigh-in at Foodbank Dayton
11:30 am: Bike or hike to Mudlick Tap House celebration
12 - 2 pm: Post ride celebration at Mudlick Tap House featuring thanksgiving style meal and cash bar. Btike riders return to respective ride locations at their leisure.
