Medlar Trail Ribbon Cutting

You are invited to attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the
Medlar Bikeway & Miami Township Trail
Thursday, October 31st at 10:00 AM
Location:  Rice Farm House – 4528 Medlar Road

Bike cyclists are strongly encouraged to participate in the FIRST ride immediately after the ribbon cutting.
Please bring your equipment.

Miami Township, Five Rivers Metroparks, and the Montgomery County Transportation Improvement District (TID) in partnership with the
Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the Ohio Department of Transportation, Montgomery County, the City of Dayton, and the
City of Miamisburg are pleased to announce the opening on Thursday, October 31 of two new multi-purpose trails enhancing the regional bikeway system in southern Montgomery County.  Over 4 miles of new off road trails developed through wooded park land and open space have been added to the  regional bikeway system on both the east and west sides of I-75, connecting the Austin Center area to the
Great Miami River Trail and neighborhoods in southeastern Montgomery County.

An overview of the new trails will be presented along with a preview of future additions to the bikeway system at a ribbon cutting ceremony at Five Rivers Metroparks’ Rice Farm House on 4528 Medlar Road in Miami Township. 
Officials from Miami Township, Five Rivers Metroparks, and the TID
will highlight the community partnership that produced  these unique new trails.

Directions:  Austin Blvd continue onto Miamisburg Springboro Pike
Go Pass the Rice Farm House – 4528 Medlar Road
Upon the Medlar Road Stop Sign (Medlar View Elementary School on the right)
Turn RIGHT Parking will be at the Miamisburg Soccer Complex - 4350 Medlar Road
