Come celebrate another cycling success for the Miami Valley!
The final touches are being put in place on the
Wright Way Bridge over I-675 from Beavercreek to Fairborn. You are invited to the official opening ceremony on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Gather on the Beavercreek (south) end of the bridge for some happy remarks and a ribbon cutting. You can find the bridge landing just behind the Sam's Club building. The address for the Sam's is 3446 Pentagon Blvd., Beavercreek, OH.
You can even take part in the first ride across the bridge. Those wishing to join the ride should gather by 1:30 PM at the parking area for the Regal Cinemas at 2651 Fairfield Commons Blvd.
A long time in the works, the Wright Way Bridge will be a tremendous asset to cyclists and pedestrians, as it provides a completely safe and convenient crossing over an interstate highway. This is an achievement worth celebrating, for sure!
