
Bike Light Event hosted by the Dayton Chapter of Bike Miami Valley right before the Dayton Bike Meet!
Volunteers will be installing free bike light sets on adult bicycles at the Gem City Market in Dayton -324 Salem Ave, Dayton, OH 45406
Adult bikes must be present and bike lights installed on-site. Event is from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. or while supplies last.
This MVMBA social ride starts at Eastwood MetroPark. Ride the paved bike path from Eastwood MetroPark to MetroPark Mountain Bike Area (MoMBA). There will be a short road section from Huffman to MoMBA. Once at MoMBA, the group will ride a “full lap” which includes all of the trails (except Talon). You can choose to ride trails based on your comfort level and wait for the others to regroup near the restroom before heading back. Then, head back the way we came to return to Eastwood MetroPark. It’ll be about 18-20 miles total.
Join a Miami Valley MTN Bike Association social ride along the Little Miami Scenic Trail featuring two MVMBA Carbon Level Sponsors. Departing at 1:00pm from K&G Bike Center in Xenia and traveling to Yellow Springs Brewery for a ~45 minute pit stop before returning to K&G Bike Center. The total ride will be about 19 miles on the bike trail. This is a fun first, no drop ride and all are welcome. In addition there will be Yellow Springs Brewery swag giveaways at the conclusion of the ride. The estimated total time for this ride will be about 2.5 hours.
The Greene Trails Cycling Classic is back but this time it is the Weekend Edition!
After a three-year hiatus, Greene County Parks & Trails will once again host the Greene Trails Cycling Classic. With a few key differences from past Cycling Classics, this event will be held Thursday through Saturday, August 25, 26, and 27.
"We are taking the ride back to its original intent – to support the local businesses along the trail corridor," said Robin Gregory, Manager, Special Events & Programs. The event will be based out of Fairgrounds Recreation Center in Xenia.
Join the Dayton Cycling Club for their 51st annual Wright Wride! On August 28, 2022, the ride begins and ends at Cedarville Community Park (see map on registration page). Enjoy beautiful flat to rolling countryside with routes of 25, 50, 60, and 100 miles. The Ohio to Erie Trail is a portion of these routes. There will be SAG support as well as mechanical support at each rest stop.
Tour de Gem | The Wright Brothers® 2022 Cycling Classic is a fundraising cycling event for local nonprofits to raise money and bring awareness to their important missions. This is a fun, family-friendly way for cyclists of all ages and abilities to have a positive impact in their community and explore the many Gems Dayton has to offer. In just 4 years, this event has raised over $295,000 for 60+ nonprofits!
Connect with the Beavercreek Police Department for a Lights on Bikes event at Angels' Pass Park (800 Factory Road, Beavercreek, OH 45434). This park is right off the Creekside Trail in Beavercreek. Event ends at 2:00 p.m. or as supplies last.
