The Friends of the Little Miami State Park will hold its next Monthly Meeting on Sunday, March 23 at 4:00 p.m. in the Morrow Administration Building, 150 East Pike St. (SR 22/3), Morrow, Ohio. Important discussion topics will include our new Strategic Plan and implementation of grant-funded improvement projects.
The Open Meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m.; The Open Meeting welcomes Segment Adopters, trail volunteers, members, donors, and the general public.

The Twisted Pretzel Tour is a mass start timed event through the beautiful Germantown countryside. The first annual tour will kick off at 8:30 AM, Saturday, September 27, 2014.
Three routes provide distances for all ages and skills. Two breaks (1 for the shortest route) offer warm pretzels and toppings along with the standard fare. The routes are flat to gently rolling with the longer routes traveling over the scenic Germantown dam (and down, not up, the dam hill). A ride across the wooden planks of the historic Germantown covered bridge is a feature enjoyed on all routes.
Second annual Ohio Women's Bicycling Summit will be held in Columbus, Ohio. Please find further information on the Consider Biking web site.
The public is welcome to attend our monthly Open Meeting. Generally, meetings are held the fourth Sunday of the month and rotate among several City Hall locations near the trail. Please join us!

Meet up with Bike-minded people for the December Bike Miami Valley general meeting at Brixx Ice Company American Grille. The event is free and open to all folks interested in advancing bike advocacy across the Miami Valley.

The time is drawing near. The Robert J. Shook Bikeway Bridge construction is about to start. Please join the Miami County Park District to celebrate the groundbreaking for this great project that will complete the Great Miami River Trail between Piqua and Troy.
The ceremony will take place at the Farrington Reserve, 1594 West Peterson Road.
Ride your bike on over to Jimmy's Ladder 11 and join Bike Miami Valley's quarterly Advocacy Social. They will be providing a recap from the Cycling Summit, some regional updates and action alerts, and fill you in on some exciting things the group has been working on to continue to help elevate the cycling movement in the region. They will also have signups for upcoming volunteer opportunities, awesome BMV T-shirts for sale and more.
