The mission of Miles for Freedom is to bring awareness and funding to ministries that support the restoration and freedom of people. We will use the event as a platform for others to become involved in a tangible and sacrificial way. Our pain in sport and giving will be for a purpose. To see broken walls rebuilt.
The Major Taylor Cycling Club of Dayton promotes cycling to all level of riders focusing on skill development, safety, physical fitness and training in the Dayton Community. The Annual Signature Ride is a key event that allows the club to promote our mission in the Dayton community. This year proceeds for the event will be donated to the Westmont Optimist Club of Dayton to further its mission to strengthen the progress of local children. City hosting forum on bike path project to Extend Huffma Prarie Bikeway
The city of Fairborn is hosting an open house Tuesday, May 13, for a proposed bike path that will connect the existing path at Ohio 235 (Xenia Drive) near Calamityville to Central Avenue and South Street. The meeting will be from 6-8 p.m. in the city’s Fire Training Room, 44 W. Hebble Avenue.
