
Hop on your bike with the family and head downtown to watch one of the most exciting sporting events in the region. The first 40 cyclists for each event to register on the Dragon’s Website and “Bike to the Dragons Game” will win a pack of prizes courtesy of Five Rivers MetroParks, Dayton Dragons, and the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission. Valet Bike Parking will be available for those who Bike to the Dragons starting at 1:00 pm.

Troy, Ohio - The Miami County Park District will officially open the “Paul G. Duke Memorial Bikeway” on Friday, June 8 at 10 a.m. The opening will take place in the parking lot of the Apostolic Church of Christ – 1624 N. County Rd. 25A.

The City of Beavercreek will hold a Bike Rodeo on June 9 from 9 AM to 11 AM (rain date June 16). The event will take place at Shaw School (3560 Kemp Road) on the parking lot behind the school. The Rodeo is open to youngsters in kindergarten thru the sixth grade. Participants should bring their bicycles and helmets. They will be required to demonstrate five bicycling skills. Prizes will be awarded by age division.
Riding the Interurban with Wil and Orv
Roundtrip from West Dayton (WDIC) to Huffman Prairie, with possible stops at Requarth Lumber and McCook Field; mostly along the Mad River Trail with a brief ride along Springfield Street; back to trail at SR 444.
