The City of Springboro through its Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) invites you to participate in an online survey to obtain feedback on the bicycle and pedestrian needs of the community. The Bicycle and Pedestrian Survey may be accessed through the City of Springboro website at www.ci.springboro.oh.us. Look for the "Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan On-Line Survey" link on the homepage under City News & Updates. You will be directed to a non-City website to complete the survey.

Beavercreek Thoroughfare Plan Open House, July 17th

The City of Beavercreek will be having an open house for a updated Thoroughfare Plan on the 17th of July from 6 to 8 in Council Chambers at the City building. Public input to the plan will be taken and a final draft will go to City Council some time in the August/September time frame for approval. If anyone would want to review the plan and give comments in advance, it can be downloaded from the City’s website here:

Traffic Skills 101

October 13 & 20

Description Classes go from 9am to 3pm on Saturdays, October 13 & 20. Students bring bikes, helmets and lunch to both classes. First class includes classroom and life-saving maneuvers in parking lot. Second class includes classroom and cycling in traffic.

Tour de 'Burg 2012

Bike Races

Miamisburg’s 8th Annual TOUR d’BURG, sponsored by Kettering Medical Center – Sycamore, will be held on Sunday, June 24, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM in historic downtown Miamisburg, just 3 miles west of the Dayton Mall on Route 725.

This event is free and open to the public with free parking. Top amateur and professional level men and women Criterion racers will compete in USA Cycling sanctioned races in historic downtown Miamisburg, Ohio. This family-friendly event features a food court, a kids’ parade plus other activities geared to children of all ages.

Bike to the Dragons

Hop on your bike with the family and head downtown to watch one of the most exciting sporting events in the region.  The first 40 cyclists for each event to register on the Dragon’s Website and “Bike to the Dragons Game” will win a pack of prizes courtesy of Five Rivers MetroParks, Dayton Dragons, and the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission. Valet Bike Parking will be available for those who Bike to the Dragons starting at 1:00 pm.

Family Fun Ride (with children 17 years of age and under) 5 mile ride, pull out time 9:30 a.m.
A parent or guardian is required to accompany all participants 12 years of age and under.

Adult Ride $20.00 per person
Family Ride $5.00 per person
