Major Taylor Cycling Club of Dayton will host the 11th Major Taylor Signature Bike Ride. In addition to the 18, 32 and metric century routes, there is also a 10 mile Family Fun Ride (with children 17 years of age and under). A parent or guardian is required to accompany all participants 12 years of age and under. Ride proceeds benefit a local charity. The 18/32/62 miles will start together on a mostly flat course to rolling hills. After the 1st reststop the route becomes more challenging for the 32 and 62 mile groups with more rolling hills.

The ride this year is scheduled for June 23, 2018, beginning at the Eaton High School Wellness Center at the Athletic Complex near the stadium located at 600 Hillcrest Drive, Eaton, Ohio 45320. Registration will be open at 6:29 a.m. and close at 10:00 a.m. on the day of the ride. The start will be an open staggered start or if you want to ride in a group, there will be a group start at 7:00 a.m. There is no rain date, so please dress appropriately. Preregistered riders will have a packet waiting in their name on the day of the ride, there will not be a confirmation mailed out.
The tour consists of four different routes: a 21-mile, 44-mile, 62-mile, and a 100-mile Century Ride option. All rides will kick off between 6:30 and 8:00 am from the Prairie Grass trailhead located behind the Madison County Senior Citizens Center at 280 West High Street in London. The courses will wind through Madison, Clark, Fayette and Greene Counties, featuring flat to gently rolling terrain.
Leave your car in the garage and support National Bike to Work Day. Ride in on your own or with a group to RiverScape MetroPark for a free pancake breakfast before you head to work. Live music, cycling-related exhibitors and a team challenge are also part of the fun.
Meet at the cyclist statue on the Great Miami River Trail in Dayton, next to Carillon Park. A slow-paced, silent ride of 8 miles. Helmet is required. Wear white and lights are requested. Gather at 6:30 pm for a 7:00 pm departure. Sponsored and led by the Major Taylor Cycling Club of Dayton.
A silent, respectful slow ride of 12 flat miles in coordination with others worldwide. Join in to honor and celebrate the lives of cyclists killed or injured while riding on public roadways. All are welcome to participate. Helmet is required.
