The 10th Annual Major Taylor Signature Ride will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Welcome Stadium Parking Lot D. There will be Adult rides 18, 32 and 62 miles and a Family ride 10 miles. Based in Xenia, Ohio, the Greene Trails Cycling Classic is a family-friendly annual event where participants can sign up for one, two, three or four days. Each day features breakfast and varying paved out-and-back trail ride from GCP&T's Fairgrounds Recreation Center in Xenia. Catered dinners are served two nights with an award ceremony Saturday night. The 62-Mile Metric Century Ride and 100-Mile Century Ride are held Friday on the shady Little Miami Scenic Trail (south). Riders return year after year to renew friendships and make friends.
Enjoy the Fourth of July holiday on well-maintained roads covering 31 or 62 rolling miles. Travel through picturesque areas of the northern Miami Valley. Gather in Eaton, Ohio and enjoy a scenic ride of 18/27/45 flat to hilly miles and view historic wooden covered bridges. A fully-supported ride with special treats prepared by Preble County 4-H clubs, the routes are marked and laid out almost entirely on rural township roads. Timed events and strava sections available for those interested. Tee shirts, lunch provided.
Begin in Xenia and ride a mix of flat and rolling terrain through beautiful Greene and surrounding counties on this fundraiser. Two routes from which to choose: 31/62 miles (half- and full-metric centuries). Roads marked for easy navigation. Several rest stops available providing water, treats, and toilets.
