
The Clinton County Park District will be dedicating a new 7.1 mile section of the Clinton / Fayette Friendship Trail that is attempting to connect to Washington Court House in Fayette County. The dedication is April 22, 2017 (Earth Day) at 10 AM in the village of Sabina, Ohio. This is situated near St. Rt. 3 & 22 under the water tower. There will be refreshments, a bike rodeo, and speakers. Anyone is welcome to attend. 937-725-3443.

The Simon Kenton Pathfinders invite you to their annual fundraising ride!
Gather in Urbana for a Trail ride of 15 flat miles for families, or flat to very hilly routes of 31 or 62 miles exploring Champaign and neighboring counties. Beautiful agricultural areas dotted with historical landmarks. Riders served a continental breakfast, and lunch. Funds raised help maintain the Simon Kenton Trail and provide for future pavement of the northern extension to Bellefontaine.
Begin in Dayton and explore beautiful flat to rolling countryside on routes of 25/50/64/100 miles on this full-service tour. Rider Limit: 500. Home-baked goodies and a bountiful supply of snacks await riders. Lunch is provided on longer routes featuring Wright Wride Salad and local foods. At finish, enjoy some refreshing watermelon.

The tour begins in Springfield and travels to German Village in Columbus for an overnight stay. Riders travel 50-plus miles per day over flat to rolling roads and bikeways. Road support and two rest stops each direction. Saturday afternoon/evening, participants gather for a social at a local favorite restaurant, stroll historic German Village, visit unique shops, and have dinner at one of many fine restaurants in the district.

The Friends of Madison County Parks and Trails in conjunction with the London Rib and Jazz Festival will sponsor a family bicycle tour from London to Brighton. This fun ride will start on 2nd and Oak St. (the municipal parking lot) at 9 a.m. It will follow rural roads through the mostly flat to slightly rolling hills past many farms and scenic countryside. Take your time and enjoy the sites along the way such as the historic Brighton United Methodist Church. The rural community of Brighton, Ohio is a bit more laid back than in England, but enjoy the rest and refreshments when you arrive.
