Sculptures on the Square - Las Bicicletas

Summer 2017 brings the return of one of Troy, Ohio’s favorite cultural events to its beautiful downtown. Throughout the months of May, June, and July, Troy Main Street will present the eighth installment of Sculptures on the Square featuring LAS BICICLETAS, Urban Art from Mexico to the World.

BALANCE Exhibit

The Mayflower Arts Center, located at 9 West Main Street in historic downtown Troy, Ohio is pleased to announce the juried selection of artwork to be on display in the Balance Exhibit, May 1 – June 24, 2017 in the Lobby Gallery. After a national call for entry was made, the Mayflower Arts Center Executive Director, Lisa Bauer and Artist/Co-Curator, Timothy Wells revealed the artwork/artist selections for the Balance Exhibit on April 15. Artwork was selected from entries received from local, regional, and national artists.

Run/Walk/Bike to the Bog

Cedar Bog is having a Walk/Run/Bike to the Bog event on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Registration is $10/person or $25/Family before April 19 and $15/person or $30/Family after April 19. It is a round-trip tour of 8.2 miles or 13K and registration is between 7:30 am-10 am. All of the proceeds from the tour help support children's field trips to Cedar Bog Nature Preserve.

Trails Rock Party

Party with the Pros at the Trails Rock Party sponsored by Bonbright Distributors.

The public is invited to join the world's trail community from leaders in the National Park Service and Forest Service to the Professional Trail Builders Association and more for a party night under the pavilion. The International Trails Symposium is in town and you're invited to come hang out and have a good time with these outdoor professionals.

Clinton/Fayette Friendship Trail Dedication

The Clinton County Park District will be dedicating a new 7.1 mile section of the Clinton / Fayette Friendship Trail that is attempting to connect to Washington Court House in Fayette County. The dedication is April 22, 2017 (Earth Day) at 10 AM in the village of Sabina, Ohio. This is situated near St. Rt. 3 & 22 under the water tower. There will be refreshments, a bike rodeo, and speakers. Anyone is welcome to attend. 937-725-3443.

12th Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience

Right on the Mad River Trail inside Eastwood MetroPark in Dayton, this is the largest free celebration of outdoor recreation in the Midwest features more than 25 outdoor recreation activities to try, competitions, gear village, used gear sales. Bike village with local retailers, national manufacturers, group bike rides, stunt riding, demo bikes of all varieties. Music, food, craft beer garden, free camping, more!

5th Groovy Gourd Bike Tour

Join the fun in Piqua and traverse some of Southwest Ohio’s most scenic countryside in 20/50 flat to rolling miles. At the end of the ride, each cyclist receives a “Groovy Gourd.” Snack stops include homemade granola bars.

Tour de Donut - now in Troy!

Now based in Troy, Ohio!

All new routes, donuts, and location. Join more than 2,000 riders as they consume more than 12,000 donuts in this unique cycling challenge where the ability to eat donuts is as important as the ability to ride! A fun timed event in which elapsed time is reduced by five minutes for each donut eaten! Routes of 16/32/62 flat miles; free kids’ events, live music, Friday & Saturday Beer Garden. Entry Deadline: September 10. Rider Limit: 3,000.

18th Rita A. Larson Memorial Ride

The Simon Kenton Pathfinders invite you to their annual fundraising ride!

Gather in Urbana for a Trail ride of 15 flat miles for families, or flat to very hilly routes of 31 or 62 miles exploring Champaign and neighboring counties. Beautiful agricultural areas dotted with historical landmarks. Riders served a continental breakfast, and lunch. Funds raised help maintain the Simon Kenton Trail and provide for future pavement of the northern extension to Bellefontaine.
